Originating in 1942, the Bibliodata Network is a pioneering initiative in the implementation of cooperative cataloging in Brazil. Structured as an integrated library database, its purpose is to promote the dissemination of publicly accessible bibliographic collections in the country. Currently, the network provides access to more than 2 million titles and includes, in its authority lists, over 250,000 standardized records of names and subjects.
